I’ve been using CHI’s Silk Infusion for just a few months now, but I absolutely love it! It leaves your hair so soft and silky!
You definitely have to play around with it a bit to get the right amount. I have a really short bob that comes down to about two inches past my ears, and just a small dollop of this is all I need.
I use it on my hair when it’s wet, concentrating on the middle and ends since if I put this near the roots, it makes my hair look greasy. Occasionally, I’ve used a tiny bit after flat ironing.
I’ve also used Biosilk in the past, but I like this a lot better since Biosilk always tended to make my hair look greasy (even if I used a teeny, tiny amount), but this CHI product doesn’t. I also use Pureology Hydrate shampoo and conditioner,and the combo of the Pureology and the CHI Silk Infusion has made my hair look the best that it ever has.
Some people have commented on the smell and have said that it’s too “masculine”-smelling, but I really like the smell, and I’m usually sensitive to smells. The smell also dissipates pretty quickly once you apply it, and, since I use other finishing products on my hair after styling it, I never smell this product on my finished hair.
It also seems like the cost of this is high, but you need so little that I can see each bottle lasting for at least eight or nine months.
Overall, I love this stuff! It really brings out my highlights and lowlights!

This smells nice and kind of reminds me of jojoba oil when I apply it to my hair. It gives it the sheen and moisture you need if you use hot tools on it. I would purchase again.
