Let me start with: I rarely leave reviews on Amazon. A product has to REALLY blow me away or be positively horrendous for me to take the time. THIS PRODUCT BLEW ME AWAY. I’ve been reading reviews on it wherever I can find them, and I was concerned to read that some people experience raccoon-eye movement of this mascara. I have not had that problem. In fact, I don’t have ANY problems with it. I wore it to the gym for an hour of hard cardio, and then showered, and it held up. And by “held up” I mean: made my staight eyelashes look like I’d just walked off a movie set. Curl? Check. (Admittedly, I use an eyelash curler, but I use one for every mascara I’ve tried, and this one still tops the tops.) Plump/ Volume? Check. But no, like, tarantula eyes. Length? Um, yeah. They’re smacking my glasses as I type this. Migration to under-eye beneath lower lashes? NOT A FLECK. This stuff is a miracle product, and the price isn’t nearly what it should be compared to what “similar” (ha!) products by Estee Lauder, MAC, and Lancome do. And trust me, I have tried them all. I normally have to use two mascaras: a curling one AND a fattening one near the base of my eyelashes because waterproof mascaras are usually not perfect. Two mascaras = not so much fun for a tomboy/ working mom/ I-don’t-have-time-to-redo-my-makeup-all-day-er. But NOW, NOW I can just wear the one mascara, and look like a siren. This product does EXACTLY what it says it will (and more), at least on my paltry, straight lashes. Five stars, bah. I’d give more if I could. I picked it up at the store before I asked a sales person to direct me to “the best mascara” they carried, and she responded “You’re holding it.” She was not wrong. For real. Try it. You will NOT be disappointed.

I have tried several different kinds of mascaras and I am extremely pleased with this one. It feels creamy when you put it on and it is really waterproof, I have already swum many times and it stays there. I love it. When you want to take it off, it is not difficult, in other words it doesn’t stay there like other waterproof mascaras that I have tried. I am really happy with the DiorShow waterproof mascara.
I especially like the chatain or brown because it looks very natural!

For some reason the NON waterproof doesn’t smudge, I received the regular Diorshow as a sample from Sephora… Anyway, I LOVED the regular Diorshow so much that I decided to order the Waterproof since I wear contact lenses. What a mistake! It smudges and makes me look like I have dark circles under my eyes after just a few hours of wear. Since this usually happens WHILE I’M AT WORK and the product is WATERPROOF, I have to run to the restroom and scrub pretty hard with tissue paper and water to remove the smudges since I usually don’t carry makeup remover WITH ME. So embarrassing to walk around looking like I have a black eye! “Hey Dior, take this product back to the lab please, you guys are totally on the right track with this product, it just needs a little tweaking!”

Everyone was telling me, you have to have waterproof mascara for your wedding day, so I ordered this mascara….I’ve used the regular and really liked the way it made my lashes look. Anyway, for the rehearsal party, I pulled out my brand-new, expensive Diorshow waterproof and by the end of the evening, I looked as if I’d been socked in the eye!! Thank goodness I used it before the wedding day, so my pictures wouldn’t show me looking like a racoon! I wonder if anyone else has had this experience. I could not have been more disappointed!!

A long-time devotee of Lancome’s Definicils Waterproof, I decided to stray and check out the hype surrounding DiorShow Waterproof. What an expensive mistake! Without even touching my eye area, the mascara somehow works it way under my eyes quickly. I have to pull out my mirror throughout the night and try to wipe off the terrible smudges. I’ve NEVER had a mascara smudge this much, not even the cheapest drugstore stuff. I wondered if I needed to set it with something, or maybe put a little powder under my eyes? At $23 I shouldn’t have to… On the plus side, this really does make lashes look super-thick and long, like doll’s lashes. But there’s nothing doll-like at all about the nasty racoon effect. I’m returning to Definicils and never looking back!
